Build AI. Don’t just prompt it.
Most AI education teaches people to operate the tool. This teaches the machine underneath: the mathematics, the model and why it works. You finish able to build your own.
The difference
A black box, or a glass box?
Taught the usual way, you learn to operate a system you cannot see into. Taught this way, every weight is visible and every step is traceable.
Three ways AI gets taught
Where the hours actually go.
The same hours can be spent three different ways. Only one of them leaves you able to build the thing.
| Prompting courses | Summer programs | AI Ninjas | |
|---|---|---|---|
| The goal | Use AI tools fluently | A project and a story for an application | Understand and build AI |
| The mathematics | Skipped. You don’t need it to prompt | Borrowed where a project happens to need it | Taught where it earns its place |
| What you build | Prompts, images and outputs | A mentor-led demo project | Your own models, in Python |
| What you keep | A certificate of completion | A project write-up | A verifiable credential, evidence attached |
| Best for | Getting more from AI today | A compelling application essay | Knowing how AI actually works |
None of this is against using AI. Prompting is a genuinely useful skill, and you would be better for having it too. The question is whether you also want to understand the machine you are using, and build your own.
What you leave with
More than a certificate.
The point is not the finish line. It is what you can hold up at the end of it.
A production neural network built in Keras and TensorFlow · a capstone you can show on GitHub · five verifiable credentials · working Python · and a genuine understanding of when a model is wrong, which is the part that matters most.
See the difference for yourself.
A few short lessons, taken straight out of the program. No sign-up and no card.
The full course is one payment of $395 for all five levels. Schools and colleges are priced separately.
